Well the ear infection from hell is sticking around it seems. Ethan has been battling this ear infection for almost 2 weeks now. First he was put on Amoxicillin and that did absolutely nothing. Now he has been on Omnicef for about 7 days and we've still got green goop coming from his ear, which is reeeeally gross. So I called the pediatrician this morning and they want him to come in. Luckily today I was able to take the whole day off, I had half a day so I could go to my "yearly" appointment which was not fun but it was good to go. Which leads us into the ultrasound, I have to go in for an u/s to see if I have scar tissue build up from my c-section and second surgery after the birth of Ethan! They can't see me until 11/19 though so I have to wait a little while longer for that. They said if they do find scar tissue they can go in and do some laproscopy through my belly button (I would be asleep of course) to remove it but it's up to me if I want to do that then or wait a few years until I have another baby and just let them remove it when I have another c-section. We'll see I guess what they say, I am going to get the Mirena IUD in though so then I won't have to worry about the Nuvaring all the time, because it is annoying. Now, onto the monkeys, Ethan is obsessed with monkeys, we went to Build-a-Bear and he built a monkey that makes noise, so he absolutely loves that monkey, well we decided to go to Cracker Barrel yesterday for breakfast and we found him a little monkey that he can take with him to school for nap time, since he couldn't take the big monkey that makes noise. Well, now I am heading to Grumpy's to have lunch with my mom, Amy, Ryan, and I'm taking Mr. Ethan along as well. His doctor's appointment is at 2:00pm today so wish us luck!!
